Talon focuses on drayage, the complicated process of moving shipping containers in and out of ports across the US.
Our fleet is comprised of more than 150 trucks nationwide, serving LA/LB, Savannah, Houston, NY/NJ, Norfolk, and Oakland. Through our brokerage operations, we can expand to more than500 total trucks, while expanding geographically to serve importers and exporters in Sea/Tac, Hawaii, Charleston, Jacksonville and Boston.
Talon also has access to more than 20 acres of storage yards, predominately in LA/LB, Houston and Savannah. These yards can be leveraged as part of an overall drayage approach, or available for overflow/temporary needs.

Why Drayage:
Drayage is the first mile of a shipment’s journey once it has reached the US, and remains one of the most challenging logistical segments in the world. Each port and terminal operates in a unique way, with small nuances creating huge difficulties for enterprise and SMB shippers alike.
Talon has solved many of the issues with drayage, layering technology and experience into the process to more rapidly provide our customers with access to their goods and merchandise. We’ve automated many mundane processes, including appointment systems at both ports and receivers, to simplify our approach and make it easier for our customers.
